چکیده
To reveal the physiological and biochemical mechanism underlying graft union formation in pecan (Carya illinoinensis), dynamic changes content of nutrients, tannin, phytohormones together with key enzyme activities were investigated 0, 3, 5, 7, 10, 14, 18, 22, 31, 40 d after grafting (DAG), homograft unions. During formation, peroxidase (POD) activity increased at 7 - 10 DAG compared that 0 DAG. Polyphenol oxidase (PPO) was higher grafted than ungrafted seedlings (control) 22 DAG, which similar to POD activity. The tannin exhibited a decreasing trend relative control. Indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) zeatin riboside (ZR) from average control 14 31 Abscisic (ABA), soluble sugar, starch, protein generally lower plants Combined our previous anatomical observations, these results suggested that, during development, some enzymes growth promoting hormones might be required for callus proliferation early stage vascular reconnection later stage. Nutrients provided energy whole development process. In contrast, polyphenols inhibiting seemed have negative effects on this

Transcriptomic Analysis Provides Insights into Grafting Union Development in Pecan (Carya illinoinensis)
Pecan (Carya illinoinensis), as a popular nut tree, has been widely planted in China in recent years. Grafting is an important technique for its cultivation. For a successful grafting, graft union development generally involves the formation of callus and vascular bundles at the graft union. To explore the molecular mechanism of graft union development, we applied high throughput RNA sequencing...
متن کاملDynamic Changes in Phenolics and Antioxidant Capacity during Pecan (Carya illinoinensis) Kernel Ripening and Its Phenolics Profiles.
Pecan (Carya illinoinensis) kernels have a high phenolics content and a high antioxidant capacity compared to other nuts-traits that have attracted great interest of late. Changes in the total phenolic content (TPC), condensed tannins (CT), total flavonoid content (TFC), five individual phenolics, and antioxidant capacity of five pecan cultivars were investigated during the process of kernel ri...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
Biochemical and Physiological Changes during Thermal Stress in Bovines: A Review
The variation in climatic variables like temperature, humidity and radiations were recognized as the potential hazards in the growth and production of all domestic livestock species. Thermal environment is a major factor that can negatively affect both production and reproduction in dairy animals, especially in animals of high genetic merit. Among the stressors, heat stress has been of major co...
متن کاملPhytochemical constituents and antioxidant capacity of different pecan [Carya illinoinensis (Wangenh.) K. Koch] cultivars
Six pecan cultivars were analyzed for their antioxidant capacity (AC), total phenolics (TP), condensed tannin (CT), HPLC phenolic profile, tocopherol and fatty acid composition. Kernels which included the outer brown testa or pellicle, and shells which is the hard cover that surrounds the kernel, were evaluated for each cultivar. Strong correlations were found in kernels between AC and TP for b...
